My name signs have gone through several evolutions. They started out as fun cute chibis of friends for gifts in high school and college, which they loved. In 2008 I decided to do my chibi style with a name next to it as a small matted print, and have the chibi be customizable. The series grew, my technique got better, and then in 2015 I decided it was time for an overhaul in design. What were once prints, became wooden signs that were 12 x 6 x 3/4 inches big and wrapped with vinyl matte paper like a chic gallery canvas. Old designs were tossed out, others updated, and new ones are being added often.
All of these are customizable to some extent. My human characters always have a good handful of options for eye, hair, skin, and outfit colors (with corresponding background color as needed) and my creature ones usually have at least different background color options, and sometimes color options for the creature.
These are sold at my kid’s art Etsy shop, which is where you can see all the color options available. I absolutely adore making these and seeing all the different variations I create for people.
